The Auckland Motorway Alliance maintained and operated the Auckland state highway and motorway network for ten years up until July 2019.
Our team worked with Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency to develop a maintenance contract that would provide a level playing field for potential tenderers and to manage the procurement process through to appointment of two contractors to form the Auckland System Management (ASM) Maintenance Alliance. The contract value is estimated to be $1B over ten years.
During the Interim Alliance period, our team worked with the Alliance partners to procure professional services to support the contractors and to assist with mobilisation of the Alliance.
Subsequently, our team worked with the Alliance partners to determine the best procurement approach for the maintenance of the Auckland Harbour Bridge.
